Benefits

Our benefits package includes:

Health Insurance

STBP, Inc. offers health insurance benefits to employee partners and covers most of that cost because it’s the right thing to do. Those that accept coverage can also add their family at their cost if desired.

Paid Holidays

STBP, Inc. recognizes ten paid holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving x 2, Christmas x 2, and a floating personal holiday to be scheduled/used at your discretion. When required to work an STBP, Inc. holiday because of client/work location requirements we pay double time and/or swap days so everyone gets to participate in some way.

Paid Time Off

In addition to ten paid holidays each year, every employee partner accrues paid time off with each paid hour worked. Employee partners start accruing paid time off on day one, and can accrue up to 20 paid days off each year to be used for vacation days, sick days, personal days, etc. even in the first year of employment. Most importantly, we require the use of time away from the office because we believe maintaining a healthy work/life balance is essential for success.

Work/Life Balance

Our ‘people first’ culture places a high value on encouraging a healthy work/life balance. We respect our employee partners’ time away from the office and we strive to create an environment they want to return to each day. We believe work should be enjoyable and intrinsically satisfying. Since we see our employee partner’s unique differences and individuality as strengths, we work hard to find what motivates and inspires each partner. In that way work/life balance really becomes simply life balance at STBP.

For many, it is about better future opportunities. That’s why we offer training and continuing education to those seeking to learn more. For others, it’s our focus on flexible schedules, family, and teamwork. We know Junior’s soccer practice is important to you, and we think you should be able to tailor your schedule so you can be there. We build relationships between employee partners, their families, and the firm through company-sponsored events such as volunteerism, tournaments/cookouts, attending charity and other events, team meetings, and other perks. We build a relationship of mutual respect and trust between all three because we know it will come back around.

Service

Our employee-focused culture means we are champions for the personal passions and causes of our employee partners. We urge our team to embrace the STBP, Inc. mission to be involved community leaders. That’s why it is company policy to match employee donations to approved philanthropic causes up to 1% of salary annually.

401K Plan

Our employer-sponsored retirement plan under section 401k of the IRS tax code is designed to save employee-partners money by decreasing their taxable income, and give them free money through STBP matching. We want to help encourage retirement savings (and long term vision in general). The investment advisor and the plan administrator play key roles with the details and we are glad to be able to sponsor this highly sought after plan for our STBP team.

Life Insurance

STBP, Inc. provides at our cost a small amount of life insurance for every employee-partner at the time they are eligible for our group health insurance. Even if they don’t accept health coverage. Because it’s the right thing to do. Sadly we have experienced the loss of an employee-partner and while it is shocking and upsetting for our work team it is no doubt truly overwhelming for their family. STBP life insurance was there to help the family take care of end-of-life expenses, and we are hopeful that helping to relieve the financial stress is valuable in crossing at least one thing off their list.
